Bard Meiji School is located in Xindu District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on the banks of the North Xinjiang River and on the side of Nobel Park, covering an area of approximately 80 acres and with a building area of approximately 26,000 square metres. The campus is modelled on the University of Virginia, designed by Mr Jefferson, the fourth President of the United States, and integrates the campus environment, nature, art and learning space with each other. A bilingual teaching model combined with an inquiry-based learning approach and MAP third-party assessments are used to monitor students' learning levels and develop differentiated teaching programmes. Bard International School has been awarded candidacy for the IBO International Baccalaureate Primary Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and High School Programme (DP).
